The beautiful city of nice

Today it was raining. Yeah it was raining in the French Riviera. It sucked.

Our plan was to go to the market and then off  to Pheonix Park. We put on our rain gear and tried to find the market. After being lost for a while we finally found it! It was quite dissapointing when we got there. It was a true french market with brand names everywhere and expensive antiques. Not a market like I am used to, especially being a poor backpacker.

The rain made us so cold that we went to mcdonalds and sat down for a while with a haut chocolat. This was the only place we could get half decent wifi. We came here about 3 times. Its surprising how important wifi gets when you have no data.

We went back to the hostel and layed down. Well it was our plan to get money and go grocery shopping but our beds called our names. We were asleep for 2 hours! It was truly glorious as we had awesome mattresses and pillows that your head would get lost in.

Grocery shopping for dinner. We are getting so good at not eating out! We made pasta tonight with a sauce from boursin tomato paste. These were the only things we bought. There is always a free pile at the hostels and mikah and I made a rule. If the pile looks the same the second day were there, its ours. We got peas and fresh garlic to put into our pasta it was delicious. We even stole some more pasta from the free pile. Shhh..

Ofcourse we went to mcdonalds again and got wifi. This day was so uneventful that I am struggling to remember what I did today.
